It is imperative that break any and all contact with Rachel immediately. If you don’t you will be condemning her to death before this time next week. Use today to say good-bye to her. | 7:03 pm | [Private to Raphael] All who have fallen ill should be quarantined immediately to prevent the outbreak from spreading while those who have been in contact with the infected should be isolated and observed. There is a quarantine ward at the hospital I am currently located at, and I can have the facilities ready to be put to use within an hour if needed. Seeing as no one appears to be suffering from this illness outside of Asgard we can rule out the possibility of this being a malfunction day. Either this is a more natural occurrence or it is a biological attack from Niflheim’s team. Belphegor is capable of producing plagues so we cannot rule out the possibility that she might be responsible. It would also be good to advise those who have fallen ill to not publicly announce their status. It may not be to our benefit if Niflheim became aware of the degree in which our team has been weakened by this. |

| 7:52 pm | [Through much effort and struggling, L manages to switch on the camera to his laptop. He is lying on the floor with chains wrapped around his chest pulling from somewhere out of the camera’s view. They tighten with each gasp of breath he takes causing him an increasing amount of pain that he can no longer hide in his expression. Anyone viewing can see L is covered in a dark substance, a combination of ink and blood which appears to be dripping down from the ceiling and leaking out from the white walls and floor where the name ‘L. Lawliet’ is repeatedly scratched in large crude letters. He opens his mouth a little, trying to say something, but the words never seem to reach his tongue. He can only manage to look helplessly at the screen for a moment before looking away. Then camera switches off.] |
